With reference to your letter of the 15th inst.

No.26362/00, forwarding copy of a telegram from the

Governor of Hong Kong, asking that lists of casualties

in the Military operations in China may be, from time to

time, forwarded to that Colony: I am commanded by my Lords

Commissioners of the Admiralty to state, for the informa-

tion of the Secretary of State, that the necessary instruct

- ions have been given to the Naval Authorities at the

front.
